Nomination of Mr. Nicholas Pedneault as the Vice-Chairman of the education and research committee of the IARW/WFLO.

Quebec, August 1, 2007. - Congebec is proud to announce the nomination of Mr. Nicholas Pedneault as the Vice-Chairman of the education and research committee of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) and the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO).

The education and research committee of the IARW/WFLO was created with an aim to identifying training needs in the public refrigerated warehouses industry and to recommending the development of educational programs. Moreover, the committee recommends and supervises the research project of the IARW/WFLO and keeps the members informed of the last issues in food science.

It is should be noted that Mr. Nicholas Pedneault is also, since 2006, officer for the North Atlantic Chapter of the IARW. Gathering the north-east American states and Eastern Canadian provinces including Quebec and Ontario, the North Atlantic Chapter of the IARW allows the advance of the interests and the wellbeing of the refrigerated warehousing industry of this area.
